UAT removes accumulated process sediment, sludge and slurry from lined ponds and dams in refining and heavy industrial environments. The project scope is planned around the asset, material, chemistry, access and operating requirements.
Accumulated material can reduce pond capacity and affect process-water management. UAT’s published experience includes refinery settlement ponds, red mud sediment, nickel-processing slurry and fly-ash ponds, with work completed around active infrastructure and site controls.
Pond geometry, liner condition, sediment behaviour, water chemistry, access and production dependencies influence the appropriate removal method. UAT plans the project around these conditions, with liner and surrounding-asset risks considered throughout the work.
Where flow control or water circulation forms part of a broader pond project, UAT can coordinate and install suitable baffle, silt-curtain, aeration or mixing equipment in conjunction with the relevant suppliers and site team. UAT does not present these supporting systems as standalone products designed or sold by UAT.
