ENERGY & POWER OPERATIONS

Process Pond Dredging for Energy Operations

UAT supports energy and power operators responsible for process ponds, water-storage assets and ash ponds where sediment build-up can reduce working capacity and affect ongoing site operations.

Support for Process Water & Sediment Ponds

Energy-sector ponds operate within site-specific water, access and safety controls. UAT plans sediment-removal projects around the pond’s material, liner, operating status and nominated on-site receival arrangement, with the aim of restoring or maintaining usable capacity.

Experience in Demanding Operating Environments

UAT has more than 23 years of field experience and works across Australia, including difficult-access and hazardous operating environments. Project planning considers site access, inductions, production dependencies, water chemistry and the controls required for the particular facility.

A Defined Sediment-Removal Scope

UAT removes accumulated material from the pond and, where agreed, transfers it to a nominated on-site receival point. Downstream treatment, dewatering, reuse, off-site transport and disposal remain the client’s responsibility unless expressly included in the project scope.
